ARDLETHAN & BEYOND MUSEUM

Ardlethan & Beyond Museum is the result of community fund raising, grants from State and Federal Government as well as assistance from Coolamon Shire Council.

The building commenced in April 2020 and was completed in August 2021. The naming was put out to the community with the final vote being Ardlethan & Beyond.

The Museum focuses on a large area, - it extends and encompasses the villages of Ardlethan, Moombooldool, Beckom, Kamarah and the pastoral areas Cowabbie, Kildary, Wallaroobie, Warri, Bygoo, Yalgogrin, Bolero, Ariah, Yarranjerry and Murrell Creek.

The variety of collections and exhibits showcase our growth over the last 150 years - farming, mining, businesses, sporting, committees, home life and unique personalities.

Setting up the Museum has been a community based project, with past and present members of this community working together to display our journey from the early days till now.
