Celebrate New Year's Eve at the Coolamon NYE Street Party!
The Coolamon NYE Street Party is back and better than ever this year! Join us on Tuesday 31 December 2024, from 6pm to 10pm on Cowabbie Street in Coolamon for a night full of fun, entertainment, and community spirit.
The Coolamon NYE Street Party is a much-anticipated event that brings together friends, family, and community members for a night of celebration. Hosted on Cowabbie Street, the event will feature an exciting mixture of activities and entertainment, including live music, roving performers, kids zone with a jumping castle, rides, face painting, and more.
This council-run event is made possible with funding from Coolamon Shire Council and the NSW Government's Open Streets Program, along with major sponsors Coolamon Chaser Bins and Beyond Bank.
Bring your picnic rug and chair and watch the sunset while listening to live music from this year’s headliner, Who’s the Boss Party Band. They will be providing an evening of non-stop entertainment that will have everyone dancing.
Get ready to tempt your taste buds with a variety of food vendors along with local cafes that will also be open during the event. We are excited to announce that this year's kids zone is proudly sponsored by Coolamon Chaser Bins, along with additional free entertainment funded by the NSW Government’s Open Streets Program led by Transport for NSW.
Mayor Cr David McCann commented, "The Coolamon NYE Street Party is a fantastic event that will bring our community together in celebration. It’s a safe, family fun event with plenty on offer. It’s a treat to see our heritage main street converted into this event space for the night."
Minister for Roads, Arts, Music and the Night-Time Economy, Jobs and Tourism John Graham said:
“We’re excited to support this event in Coolamon.
“Too often our main streets are something we drive through, rather than drive to. Our streets are a critical part of our public and social infrastructure. Great streets make great towns and centres and reflect the local community and culture.
“The Open Streets program is about temporarily transforming our main streets into vibrant and welcoming public event spaces.
“The colour and diversity of these 130 events celebrates the unique personality of each town or suburb. This is what our vibrancy agenda is all about, backing locals to create events and entertainment that works for their local community.”
Mark your calendars and be sure to bring your family and friends to the Coolamon NYE Street Party.
